The Car Affordability Calculator is our ninth calculator. This calculator determines how expensive a car you can buy based on how much you can pay each month. You can enter the monthly payment, number of months of the loan, and the interest rate. You can also include extra charges (such as a dealer warranty), sales tax, down payment, and trade in allowance. A handy graph is provided which plots the car price over a range of different monthly payments, so you can easily see the effect of the monthly payment on the price of the car you can buy.
