The Stock Rate Of Return Calculator is our second calculator. This calculator finds the rate of return on a stock. You can enter the buy date, sell date, purchase price, and sales price (enter share prices in decimal form, no fractions). You can also look at the effect of taxes on both the dividends and capital gains of a stock. A handy graph is provided which plots the value of your investment up to the date of sale (next whole year and assuming the same return rate each year). You can then easily vary any of the parameters to explore different options. Note: This calculator doesn't assume any gains from possible dividend reinvestment.
